About the Programme

The Alternative Mining Indaba (AMI) 2026 returns to its roots with the aim to challenge the narratives of the Investing in African Mining Indaba by amplifying the lived experiences of communities affected by mining. This three-day event features panel discussions, exhibition days, and closing dialogues focused on solidarity, community voices, and collective action.
