Exhibition Registration 2026
Showcase your organization at the Alternative Mining Indaba 2026
Application Deadline: 31 January 2026
About AMI Exhibition
The Alternative Mining Indaba brings together community activists, civil society organizations, faith-based groups, researchers, and policy advocates from across Africa and beyond. The exhibition space provides a platform for organizations to showcase their work, share stories of mining impacts, present solutions, and build solidarity with affected communities.
Important Information
1. Limited Space: Up to 30 organisations will be approved for exhibition stalls. The AMI prioritises community-based organisations and encourages INGOs and NGOs to cooperate with the communities they work with for the exhibition.
2. Fees & Waivers: The AMI has discretion to charge a fee for exhibitors. Community-based organisations are exempted from fees. Other civil society applicants can apply for a waiver.
3. Eligibility: Organisations must meet AMI's participation requirements as defined in the logistics note. Those not meeting requirements will be automatically disqualified.
4. Participation Policy: Participation is free for community-based organisations and community delegates. The private sector (mining companies, partners, and organisations financially attached to the mining industry) may only participate as observers with no influence on the program or exhibition space, except at the invitation of the Steering Committee.
